The gel is recommended to use to cows for reduction of the risk of milk fever. The gel may be used as a feed supplement in cases of calcium and phosphorus deficiency.

Layered solution (gel) of matted colour is distinguished for its good resorption from digestive tract and quick effect when normalizing the quantity of calcium and phosphorus in blood serum. Magnesium (acting as a calcium antagonist) and potassium which are in the preparation composition mitigate the action of calcium on the heart. It is efficient when used for the increase of the quantity of calcium and phosphorus in blood and for the reduction of the risk of milk fever.
CALCIFOSTIL is provided as gel and therefore does not irritate gastric and intestinal mucous membrane and does not have any unpleasant strange odour.
