Allow me kindly to take an opportunity to express that we are leading pharmaceutical import-export trading company hold second-rank among hundreds of local distribution companies in Azerbaijan and mainly specialized in import, distribution, sales, active promotion and marketing of final finished human pharmaceutical formulations in Azerbaijan as well as other neighbouring countries such as Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan with which we represent European companies on sole right basis.
Azerbaijan
We are - Odlar Yurdu 95 pharmaceutical distribution company being private-owned one established in 1995 May, Baku/Azerbaijan by pharmacist who rules company presently. Company basically specialized in active marketing/promotion & distribution of finished RX .../OTC medicinal formulations from various therapeutic areas of gastroenterology, angelology, cardiology, anti inflammatory - analgesics, dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology, infectiology, neurology-psychiatry-related.
Since the moment company had established, it started to run business as a wholesale distribution set of pharmaceutical products, in-coordinating more than 3500 number of medicinal items made available in the warehouse, of which purchased from foreign partners exclusively as well as locally on product-barter terms basis.
And then company administration made an effort to organize two marketing wings, containing each 60 number of highly-qualified medical specialists so as to support business growth with brand-core drugs in cooperation with a great number of healthcare professionals.
We challenge market and as a result of being strong in our promotion activity, 30% from overall list of brand products we present are leading and well-positioned in market. According to unofficial statistical data, there are almost 100 numbers of pharmaceutical companies (multinational/national) that operates in Azerbaijan market and Odlar Yurdu stands for second ranking among them.
Our marketing activity covers all parts of country, having medical representative appointed with special assignment at every region.
It is provided full distribution network service on regular basis to deliver drug-ordered-goods at the pharmacies allocated at every corner of the country. Company has 2500 m2 area warehouse that meets international standards need to storage goods under high-level conditions. In wholesales there are 45 workers in number that have full-time job assignment.
Odlar Yurdu has own 10 drugstores and one diagnostic polyclinic that support business action progressively at all aspects.
It is honor to emphasize that our company was awarded ISO 9001-2001 Certification approved in last year 2007, being in accordance with international standards.
It was 3 years since we have become more active to advance as an export trading company, venturing at a number of neighbouring markets with wide-ranged interesting formulations we are licensed out. In the view of successful business, we are committed in the provision of regulatory affairs service able to manage registration approved either producer name or distributors name. There organized regulatory affairs department in the company will surely guide all ongoing procedure, follow up timely product registration status, revise incoming registration documents submitted producer in order to make them ready for initial submission to the attention of Health Ministry, Registration Department.
In last period of time, current situation of registration procedure has become more improved and strict in terms of documents. Registration lead time takes about 4 to 6 months - dependent on the dossier status - at the state cost 2500US, covering next 5 years. For your reference, I attach above update list of documents requested in the registration department of MOH of Azerbaijan Republic.
Have in mind that we are welcoming our partners to reimburse as a free goods for overall expenses we had paid in the registration of target products.
Short information you will hear about our activity in following countries we commenced in the last 3 years, such as Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Georgia
In Georgia, its been more than three years we present efficiently with 30 brand products authorised by European producers on excusive rights, covering areas from different therapeutic fields. There are almost 50 numbers of educated medical specialists that works with us on full-time basis, contacts constantly professional healthcares presenting drugs we offer. We organized office premises and also storage warehouses in order to arrange timely stock assurance. To the last report, we are towards in the move having chance to cover a whole part of the country very recently.
Kazakhstan
In Kazakhstan, as registration process is very complicated and got lots of documents to claim, we almost spent two years alone in the process of product registration. Currently & finally we have twelve medicinal products approved and launched in the market successfully. For all what we did, it certainly enabled us gain wide marketing knowledge and reliable connection to benefit for business future. New marketing office was already opened with attendance of 10 medical specialists.
Kirghizia
Now it has been 1 year back we are in kirghizian market, attending 9 medicinal injectable drugs. Market is open and perspective.
Tajikistan/ Uzbekistan
Two markets stated are the most potential markets we ever feel with perspectives. Nevertheless, we are only entering markets, after having target products approved and registered recently.
